Alleen has a solid foundation in the study of communications with both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in the field. Alleen is a trained focus group moderator and specializes in qualitative research methods. She has facilitated sessions and has project management experience with experience management, marketing strategy, and message mapping.
Alleen is an AMA Houston Healthcare Special Interest Group committee member. In addition, two of her most recent projects won Crystal Awards from the AMA. She has managed projects for clients such as MD Anderson, and Texas Cancer Information Network.
While earning her master’s degree, Alleen taught interpersonal communication courses at UT Austin while conducting her own research investigating the dissemination of health information through social networks.
Before joining Gelb, Alleen also spent time honing her research and marketing skills while serving as a field manager for a market research firm in Austin. Her work there was specifically focused on reaching female consumers for clients such as American Greetings, Real Simple Magazine, and Nestle Toll House.
