Job Description:
Gelb Consulting Group, Houston-based consultants in marketing research, strategy and technology, seeks a marketing professional with an advanced degree and 3+ years of experience to join our team as a Marketing Analyst.
The position of marketing analyst is the entry point for a career path in strategic marketing consulting. Marketing analysts work with the consulting team to collect, analyze and deliver marketing information and insight in support of the firm's strategy engagements in the areas of branding, marketing strategy, customer experience management and new product development.
The marketing analyst will acquire the skills to conduct all types of primary marketing research studies using quantitative and qualitative research methodologies. Responsibilities include project management, methodology development, questionnaire design, data collection and analysis, report writing, and delivering presentations to clients. Studies are conducted regionally, nationally and worldwide. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate superior analytical, writing and communications skills. This position requires experience with the Microsoft Office suite.
