Job Description:
Gelb Consulting Group, a Houston-based research and strategy firm, seeks a marketing professional with a master's degree or equivalent years of experience in marketing, political science or marketing research to join our team as a Project Director.

Gelb's research-based consulting services help companies create loyal customers by building trusted brands, developing successful new products and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Our clients are major corporations located in Houston and around the U.S and represent a wide range of industries.

The Project Director will lead primary marketing research studies using quantitative and qualitative research techniques. Responsibilities include field service management, new business meetings, proposal writing, methodology development, questionnaire design, project management, data collection and analysis, report writing and making client presentations. Studies are conducted regionally, nationally and worldwide. Occasional overnight travel is required.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate significant experience with focus groups and executive interviews as well as advanced quantitative marketing research techniques such as conjoint analysis. Superior analytical, writing and communications skills are required. Candidates with experience in SPSS are strongly encouraged to apply. Experience in a challenging and fast-paced professional services environment is preferred.
