Nicole Trochta Coy

Marketing Strategist

Nicole’s background is in business communication research, with a Master’s degree in Communication Studies from Texas State University. She has managed projects for clients such as CHRISTUS Health, MD Anderson Cancer Center, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, Iowa Health-Des Moines, and University of Michigan Health System. Nicole works in Gelb’s San Diego office and is an active member of the San Diego Direct Marketing Association and Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development (SHSMD). She currently facilitates online business and writing courses.
 
Before joining Gelb, Nicole spent three years teaching at Texas State University. She previously studied how employees identify with and adopt the values of their organization, as well as organizational training & development. She has conducted an organizational assessment of a mass media organization, developed corporate training programs, and completed an instructional assessment of the freshmen-level communication course required of all students at Texas State University. She also presented research on employee alignment at a national communication conference. Nicole also has experience working with non-profit organizations and participated in launching a large grant program.
